We offer a limited number of need-based partial scholarships. Families with a clear and stated financial need may apply for a scholarship online by the deadline.

APPLICATION FEE
A Scholarship Application/Deposit Fee of $25/class is due at the time of application submission.

This fee WILL hold your space in the class(es) you are applying for and WILL GO TOWARDS TUITION if you accept the scholarship award.

Once your application is submitted and payment is received, you will receive an email with your awarded amount. YOU MUST REPLY within one week to confirm or decline your acceptance of the scholarship. If you decline, you may receive a refund for the $25.

Scholarship letters will go out on Tuesday, August 25th, 2020 for all on-time applications.

Early applicants will be notified the week of August 17th, 2020.

Scholarship Policy Agreement *
Students awarded a scholarship of any amount are expected to have consistent attendance and a positive approach to their learning in dance class. Scholarships may be revoked if students are not making full use of the opportunity. A $25/class application fee must be paid at time of application in order for application to be considered.
Refund Policy
REFUNDS & CREDITS: Refunds for tuition paid may be requested within the first 2 weeks of the session. This can be processed as a refund or class credit. No refunds or class credits will be given after the second week of classes. There is a non-refundable $16 registration fee included in the cost of each class. Refunds will be processed less the $16 registration fee and a dollar amount per class, calculated based on your individual scholarship amount, for each class that has already occurred up to the point when you contact us for the refund or credit. We encourage students to make up missed classes and cannot offer refunds or credits for classes missed due to play dates, activity conflicts, vacations, or any other non-emergency personal matters. In case of an emergency, injury, or illness, please contact us as soon as possible; exceptions for these situations will be considered. Please note refunds/credits will be calculated based on the date that you contact us to drop the class. Classes missed prior to informing us of the drop will not be included in the refund/credit total.
General Youth Policy Agreement *
RELEASE OF LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION: I, on behalf of myself and my heirs, guardians, personal representatives, or assigns, do hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless SADC, its employees and staff, and its Board of Directors from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, and causes of action, arising out of or relating to any personal injuries (including death) and property losses or damages that may be sustained by me in connection with any activities occurring in MY OWN HOME or PREMISES, or any other location I choose when engaging in remote learning opportunities with SADC.  I have voluntarily chosen to participate in the remote dance training offered by SADC.  I am aware that dance training and related activities carry certain risks that can result in injury, both minor and major. and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved. I further expressly agree that the foregoing liability waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as its permitted by the law of the State of California and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the remainder of the agreement shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect. I HAVE READ & AGREE TO THE ABOVE STATED POLICIES.
Use of Image & Commentary *
USE OF IMAGE & COMMENTARY: I am aware my child(ren) may be photographed and/or videotaped, in connection with the activities of SADC. My child(ren)'s name(s) will not be associated with such image(s). I also understand that any written or verbal commentary from my child(ren) regarding SADC may be used in promotional materials. I hereby give my permission and consent for his/her image(s) and commentary to be included in any photographs, brochures, posters, flyers, videos, marketing materials, website content, and any other document. I release and hold harmless SADC from any and all damages, liabilities, and/or claims arising out of or relating to the usage of my child(ren)'s image(s) or commentary in any such materials.
