DemocraShe Application Fall 2024!
Thank you for applying to join our DemocraShe Fall 2024 cohorts!

We are open to any female-identifying high school student (grades 9–12). DemocraShe is completely free, plus participants are paid stipends, so money is never an issue for any young woman who wants to realize her birthright of running for office.

PROGRAM TIME AND DATES

We will be accepting applications for the Fall Cohort through August 23, 2024.

Our cohorts meet on zoom two hours a week for ten weeks. We have three cohorts which each meet at different times, so make sure to check off ALL times that would work for you on the application. The workshops will start in mid-late September (dated TBA).

DemocraShe is an online program to ensure that access is never a barrier to any young woman. And all participants receive stipends for participating!

WHAT YOU'LL GET OUT OF THE PROGRAM

- interactive weekly workshops with DemocraShe team building leadership skills like public speaking, advocating for issues, and taking action in your community, alongside resilience skills like grounding and developing an "inner best friend" which will help you as leaders and in anything you do
- a chance to connect with brilliant young women from across the country
- opportunity to develop a three year plan outlining how to take action now and in the future
- an adult mentor to guide and support you (if you opt in to our mentorship program)
-  access to clubs, alumnae events, and networking opportunities
- membership in a wonderful sisterhood for life!

This application is our chance to get to know you so make sure to write enough to give us a real sense of why you are applying and what is important to you!
