The Canberra statement is a policy document that can be signed on to by individuals and organisations affirming a need for a set of reforms to ensure access to safety and justice for LGBTIQ+ asylum seekers, refugees and other forcibly displaced persons.

It is the first statement in the world to focus on the lives of LGBTIQ+ forcibly displaced people.
