YOURpath for Adult Learners is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, offering free adult basic education services to adult learners since 2018.   We offer our adult students 24 hours/7 days a week access to our online basic literacy education, GED & HiSET courses.  These courses enable students to gain the content knowledge and literacy/numeracy skills they need to achieve their high school equivalency diploma through state alternative testing.  Our program is 100% free; however, students must complete the program.  

What student get:
  • Individualized online coursework (We focus on the skills you need to build).
  • Timed lesson-quizzes to get you ready for testing.
  • One on One instructional coaching & feedback to assess your readiness for testing.
  • One on One Tutoring (if needed)
  • Test preparation course to include Tips & Strategies for successful testing.
  • Career coaching and future preparation (to include: Our Next Step Services) from Certified ICF Coaches (ICF-credentialed coaches are professional coaches who have met stringent education and experience requirements).

Effective September 15, 2022:  There is a non-refundable one-time application and processing fee of $49 to apply for our online adult basic education program.  The application fee includes processing your application and enrollment contract, evaluating your pre-assessment scores for academic placement, preparing your individual education (academic) plan, setting up student accounts, and orientation/consultation.  

Once we receive your payment, you will be sent an EMAIL and TEXT MESSAGE to complete our student enrollment contract and attend our virtual interview and orientation.  Please allow us up to 48 hours to respond. 

PLEASE NOTE: YOURpath office is closed during the month of JULY (Summer Break).  

NOTE: YOURpath office is closed during the following dates in 2024: 

  • Easter Break: Mar 29-April 6, 2024.
  • Summer Break: Entire Month of July!
  • Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-30. 2024.
  • Christmas Break: Dec. 22- Jan. 1, 2024.
 
YOURpath reserves the right to deny admissions based on the program's requirements, guidelines, demands and resources.  THIS APPLICATION IS VALID FOR 7 DAYS (including weekend days) ONLY.  Applicants must submit another application (with Non fundable fee) if they fail to proceed with enrollment process within seven days.

WELCOME NEW POTENTIAL STUDENT!  Please pay attention to our enrollment process.  

Our enrollment process consists of:
1) You complete our enrollment application.
2) You receive an email via Verifyle (private message) and text message within 48 hours to complete your enrollment contract and submit the required documentation for enrollment. (Please check your spam folder).
3) You participate in our student orientation (takes approx. 1 hour).
4) Your student account is setup and activated.  Now, you are on your way to SUCCESS!

Note: YOURpath is for independent learners. You must be comfortable completing your classwork online and independently. If you require a classroom setting, YOURpath will NOT meet your needs.

Anyone who accesses the program's services under pretense will be investigated immediately (due to suspicious activity), and criminal/civil charges will be filed to protect the organization's sole rights and intellectual property.  

Fraud convictions bring serious possibility of a jail or prison sentence.  A misdemeanor conviction can lead to up to a year in a local jail, while a felony conviction can lead to multiple years in prison. Federal charges can lead to 10 years or more in federal prison.
