Economic Development Survey
In our April Membership Meeting with Joe Molineaux, the Economic Development Program Manager of Cape May County, he tasked the UTBA with polling our business community and Upper Township citizens on a very important question:

What type(s) of Businesses or Industries do you want or feel that we need in Upper Township?

The UTBA knows how important it is to have a diversity of businesses in a community. This diversity will draw consumers into our town, and drive more foot traffic into our already established businesses and store fronts.

Joe Molineaux is very vested in our growth, especially as the 'Gateway' to Cape May County, and would like to better understand as to what directions county development should take for the continued future economic health of Upper Township.

Joe feels strongly about Economic Gardening, which is an entrepreneurial approach to economic development that seeks to grow the local economy from within. Its premise is that local entrepreneurs create the companies that bring new wealth and economic growth to a region in the form of jobs, increased revenues, and a vibrant local business sector. Economic gardening seeks to focus on growing and nurturing local businesses rather than hunting for “big game” outside the area.

Once we understand your thoughts, we will be able to provide a report to Upper Township and Joe Molineaux so your voices are heard. Thank you in advance!
