Requiem (Hokihankist) Request Form
St. James Armenian Church - Watertown, MA

It is a tradition in the Armenian Church to offer special prayers for loved ones who have fallen asleep in Christ.  Prayers for those who have passed away are based on an understanding of Holy Scripture that just as Christ died and lived again, the faithful who have died are merely asleep in Christ.

Please fill out the form below to make your request for Hokihankist Requiem Prayers. Requests should be received no later than 5pm on the preceding Thursday.

It is customary for families making Requiem Requests to make donations to St. James in memory of their loves ones. There is no set amount; please give as you are able. Donations may be made online at www.stjameswatertown.org/support-us.

Families making Requiem Requests are also able to dedicate Altar Candles and Altar Flowers in memory of their loved one on the day of their Requiem Prayer. Dedications of Altar Candles or Altar Flowers are $100 each, and may be made at www.stjameswatertown.org/support-us.
