Art Therapy Workshop: Empowerment Through Altered Books II (Waitlist)
Thank you for your interest in joining our creative community for the Spring 2024!

***Waitlist***Art Therapy Workshop: Empowerment Through Altered Books II (Virtual)

February 5 - April 8  | Mondays | 6:30 - 8 PM

GW ArtReach and the GW Art Therapy Clinic are partnering again to  host a virtual art therapy group. We invite new and returning participants to the Empowerment through Altered Books Art Therapy Group. Altering books is a creative journaling method to re-author your story and highlight what is meaningful to you from within the pages of a book, as well as by adding your own content to create space for your voice and meaning.  We will explore new techniques for altering books each week, and you will be able to continue the process on your own to support your journey of self-care and self-discovery. No prior experience necessary. Any required materials will be provided. Please note that we give priority to Ward 7 and 8 residents. This class is free including all materials.  We only ask that you commit to attending regularly and on time.

We follow The George Washington University and DCPS Holiday schedule.
