Accessing Evidence of New Jersey’s Changing Climate - a virtual workshop for teachers
New Jersey’s climate has changed, as evidenced by long-term observational data records. This evidence is needed to identify viable solutions for the impacts of climate change across our state. However, accessing local observational data can be a challenge, and preparing the data for students in various grade-levels can also be a challenge. In this workshop, participants will learn how to access New Jersey focused climate data, and identify ways to integrate the data into their science, math, and social studies courses in grades 6-12.
