Saturday, April 20, 2024 (from 8:30 am to 1 pm), rain or shine.

Join us as we gather at 8:30 am at the Hopkins Academy parking lot to share supplies (trash bags, gloves, bagels) and then spread out around town to pick up trash next to our roads, trails, and waterways. If you already have supplies, you can start the clean up day at whatever location chosen on this form (see #3 below).                                      

Once you have registered on this Google Form you will be able to drop off the trash you collect that day at the Hadley Transfer Station. Please check in with the Transfer Station attendant when you get there as that person will have a list of those who have registered and are thereby allowed to drop off trash whether they have a current Transfer Station sticker or not. Please drop off the trash you have collected that day by 1 pm. For this event, whatever bag you have used will be accepted. There is no need to purchase and use the bags usually required for trash at the Transfer Station.

The Hadley Police and Fire Departments have been notified about this event. Please be careful as you gather trash. Wear bright clothes and stay off the roads.
