MISSION STATEMENT
---The purpose of the Kuna High School Band Program is to provide students with a well-balanced music education centered around band performance.
---Students will learn about responsibility, time-management, relationships, musical expression, discipline,
dedication, music theory and gain skills relative to their instrument.
---Students will be able to experience a variety of music and music ensembles.
---This education will help prepare students for postsecondary education opportunities and vocations related to music or otherwise.


WELCOME TO 2020-21
        Welcome to band at Kuna High School! It’s going to be an exciting year, with some great opportunities in store. Despite the current situation surrounding COVID-19, we will do our best to have meaningful experiences for students to learn and grow and enjoy band.
        Student safety is paramount in these times, and students are requested to follow all safety protocols that have been put into place by the Kuna School District, Kuna High School and the Kuna Band Program. These protocols begin with wearing a mask, having bell covers for instruments and keeping 6 feet apart at all times. Students are being asked to not store personal items in the band room aside from their musical instrument.
        Students are currently working on music for this quarter which will help them grow as musicians. More information will follow about the possibility of a performance near the end of the quarter.
