Cyber Group - Let's Encrypt OpenPort Sign-Up
On the 10th of March at 17:30, Josh Aas will be joining us from New York to share how the dream of a secure internet lead to the creation of a game-changer in the PKI provision, Let's Encrypt. Josh will briefly talk about what Let's Encrypt has accomplished in the past and how they plan to increase the daily issued TLS certificates from around 2 Million to over 200 Million. Additionally, he will share with us his career path, his insights on how to forge a fulfilling career and the challenges he finds interesting. We will have an open Q&A session afterwards.

Josh Aas is the chair of the Board of Directors of the Internet Security Research Group. Before that, he has been with Mozilla for almost 12 years helping to push and improve Firefox towards the modern web browser we know today. As Senior Technology Strategist he was also responsible for defining new strategies to improve security within the web. As co-founder and Executive Director of Let's Encrypt Josh Aas is now leading the NPO's efforts to increase the use of HTTPS by making TLS certificates easily available to everyone, everywhere, for free. Thus making our beloved internet a safer place.
