Summer housing is something we are actively working on, we have some dormitory style housing but it can often be in short supply. If you require housing, would you be willing to do shared housing off site for the summer? *
Dates and timeframe of summer internship
Generally our college internships run from June-August, averaging around 10 weeks. This is when the bulk of our summer programming happens. We do have some flexibility on start and end dates, though, and have the option of some September work if interns are available. Exact dates will be worked out individually with each intern.

While we have base programming needs in the summer, we do have some room to help focus internships to make them uniquely interesting for students and help them get the most out of their summer. From looking at what the Wallowa Mountain Institute offers or what Wallowa Resources as an organization offers, do you have a particular area of interest that we could help you focus your internship around (ie: communications work, social media, gear/trip management, specific age groups, community building, renewable energy, etc...)? *
