PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
Eric Jentsch, Lead Curator for Sports and Entertainment in the Division of Culture and Community Life at the National Museum of American History, will present "The National Sports Collection."

Eric Jentsch will introduce the National Sports Collection, a collection he helps curate at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. This collection not only documents the achievements of some to the nation’s greatest athletes, but also represents sports vital role in our shared culture. Eric will share stories of some of the collection’s treasures, revealing how these artifacts can provide dynamic explorations into our nation’s past.
