2024 IRIE Adoption Questionnaire
This form is to help Lady Dinah's find the right home for Café Cats, or cats abandoned at our café.

This form should also help prospective adopters think through all the ways in which cat ownership may affect their lives. Every question is important, so please answer as much as you can.

All cats have different needs, so please don't let the questions deter you. Not all cats need a garden, some cats are wonderful with children or other cats etc. This form just helps us to make a perfect match for you.

1. ABOUT YOU
Irie is a shy and extremely sweet 3.5 years old lady! She is quite introverted, so she would prefer a quiet and relaxed home, where she would be the only cat in! 

We don't think she'll get along with a dog, so we prefer no dog households!

As she isn't a fan of loud or too excitable environments,  she would prefer a home with older children, who will understand her and let have her own space.

She wouldn't be a confident outdoor cat, so she would prefer to live as an indoor cat!
Her ideal family would be some who enjoys a cosy and chill home environment, with not too much noise.

2. ABOUT YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES
A little bit about your lifestyle, needs and situation.
Tell us a little bit about your home! Are you renting/owner, do you have a yard/balcony? Are they enclosed? *

What's your routine like? When do you work? Do you go out often? What kind of lifestyle will your cat enjoy with you? *
Irie also has a hidden talent of being a fierce hunter!

Irie is also known for being a great model! 
3. LOOKING AFTER IRIE
Irie is a very sweet lady, who loves cheek rubs, back massages and sometimes even belly rubs! She has 3 paws and has lost her back right paw, when she was born. Irie was on the 17th June 2020 in the shelter we partner with and during her birth, the umbilical cord of her mom was wrapped around the paw, stopped the blood flow fell on its own a couple of days after.  She limps a little bit when she walks, but jumps and runs better than some of our cats, so it does not stop her from zoomies, jumping and hunting toys at all! 

Irie's  right eye gets quite watery easily and sometimes it looks like she crying, she has been to a few vet visits for it and they have looked at it multiple times, but it's nothing serious and most likely a blocked tear canal and extra sensitivity. We regular clean it with Savic wipes, Ocryl or any cat eye solutions to help with the tearing. 

She could be shy at first, but she warms up to people easily, she likes to lounge around and chill, but she also gets very excited over feather toys! Also another favourite game of hers is a moving stick underneath a rug or mat! 

She would be independent enough to stay at home alone when you are be at work, but also wouldn't enjoy it for longer periods of time! 


Are you prepared to perform regular grooming checks, toothpaste, give tablets if needed and spend the ~£50-100 cost per year to ensure Irie is healthy and has her vaccination booster shots? *
Who will be the primary caregiver? *
Are you aware of, and agree to our requirement that Irie cannot leave our care until her new owner has set up a Pet Insurance policy for her? This will ensure she will be able to get the care she needs if something happens to her. *
Are you prepared to play and spend time with Irie every day? She would need a lot of human attention and playtime to feed her needy side. *

I was born on the 17 of June 2020! I was born in the Scratching Post Cat rescue and I came to Lady Dinah's when I was 3 months old! They fell in love with me and adopted me, until I was ready to move to my forever home! I love to celebrate my birthday with a good tuna cake and lots of freeze dried treats! 
Are you aware of the average life-span of a cat (up to 20 years) and are you prepared to give Irie a home for the rest of her life?
