Lathrop Elementary 2024 Summer School Registration

The Lathrop R-II School District will offer the summer school program for our students entering Kindergarten through 6th grade.  

The program will be 20 days in length beginning on Tuesday, May 28th and will run through Thursday, June 27th from 8:00-2:30.  The first four weeks will run Tuesday - Friday. The last week will run Monday, June 24 - Thursday, June 27.

Enrollment needs to be completed by May 1st. Please fill out a separate form for each student attending.

Transportation: More information about bus routes, bus numbers, and pickup/drop off times will be sent out at a later time. Car rider’s will be able to be dropped off at school between 7:40 - 8:00 and picked up at 2:30. The building will not open until 7:40 each day.

Breakfast and Lunch: Families are encouraged to complete the Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application to determine if they qualify. Complete the application by logging into your student’s PowerSchool account, however only one form is needed per family. There is no need to apply for free or reduced-price school meals if your family has already completed the form for the current 2023-2024 academic year. In case you are unsure if you have already applied, please contact Tracy Moore or Jordan Detherage at the elementary office to double check.

Attendance Incentives: We will offer students incentives for attending summer school. Details are below.

  • Perfect Attendance - $100 gift card
  • 1 day absent (this includes early out and/or tardy) - $75 gift card
  • 2 days absent (this includes early outs and/or tardies) - $50
