The Cowles Center for Dance and the Performing Arts is excited to offer our premier dance workshops for K-12 students and adults for the 2023-24 school year and summer (September-August).
Our workshops are interactive learning experiences tailored for your students or participants and designed to fit into your classroom/programming:
Field Trips • Summer School • Day Camps • Libraries • Community Centers • Senior Care Communities
OUR ARTS IN EDUCATION PROGRAMS AIM TO:
• Spark curiosity about dance
• Engage new ways of learning
• Empower creativity
• Increase body and spatial awareness
• Connect dance to classroom curriculum
• Impact teacher practices
• Provide opportunities for self-assessment and problem-solving
• Build confidence, teamwork, respect, and cultural awareness
Each workshop is a 45-60-minute session designed for up to 30 students and taught by a Cowles Center Teaching Artist. They are available for purchase at $150 per session. You can choose a single workshop session or several to create a residency run over several days.
