This diversity program is aimed to help underrepresented groups in tech to attend as an attendee or as a speaker and lowering the barriers for them. This includes but isn’t limited to: people of color, women, LGBTQIA+ people, disabled people and Students. We aim to strive for equality regardless gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. Your privacy, details and answers will only be shared with the Devworld Conference team.

Our Diversity & Inclusion Scholarship will give you either a right to purchase tickets at cost price and in limited cases access to the full event. You will be informed personally what type of Diversity Scholarship we are able to grant you. At this moment we are not able to cover travel and accommodation as well.

FAQ
1. Am I eligible to apply?
If you feel like you are a member of an underrepresented group in tech; this includes, but is not limited to: people of colour, LGBTQIA+ people, women and disabled people and agree to our Code Of Conduct, that makes you eligible for a diversity ticket.

2. When will I find out if my application has been accepted/rejected?
We will aim to contact you within 6 weeks before the start of the Conference with the Diversity Scholarship we will be able to offer you for the event applied for.

Code Of Conduct

1. Conference Code of Conduct

1.1 All attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers and third parties relations who establish a contractual relationship with Devworld Conferences at our conference are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Devworld will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from everyone involved with Fronternd Love Events & Conferences to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.


2. Devworld Conferences Anti-Discrimination & Anti-Harassment

2.1 Our conferences are dedicated to providing discrimination and harassment-free conference experiences for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate racism and/ or harassment of conference participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any of our conference venues, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter and other online media. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers.

2.2 Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

2.3 Sponsors are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. In particular, sponsors should not use sexualised images, activities, or other materials. Booth staff (including volunteers) should not use sexualised clothing/uniforms/costumes, or otherwise create a sexualised environment.

2.4 If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the conference organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund.

2.5 Conference staff will be happy to help participants contact venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference. We value your attendance.

2.6 We expect participants to follow these rules at conference and workshop venues and conference-related social events.


3. Anti-Racism

Emphasizing the importance of our standpoint against Racism and having mutual respect towards the equality of any of our attendees, speakers and staff regardless race, physical appearance, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, body size, or technology choices. We do not tolerate racism of conference participants, speakers, staff or third parties who establish a contractual relationship with Devworld Conferences in any form.



4. Enforcement

4.1 Participants, Speakers, Staff and Third Party vendors asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.


4.2 Participants, Speakers, Staff and Third Party vendors involved in any case of Racism towards anyone involved within the Devworld Conferences at any level will be expelled from the event immediately with no refund.


4.3 If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, event organisers retain the right to take any actions to keep the event a welcoming environment for all participants. This includes warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund.


4.4 Event organisers may take action to address anything designed to, or with the clear impact of, disrupting the event or making the environment hostile for any participants. We expect participants to follow these rules at all event venues and event-related social activities. We think people should follow these rules outside event activities too!


4.5 If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of conference staff immediately. Conference staff can be identified as they'll be wearing branded clothing and/or badges.


5. Reporting

5.1 Any form of violation of our Code of Conduct can also be addressed to our TEAM Members with an Organisation Badge, you will be able to contact us over email via: hello@jsworldconferences subjected Violation CoC.

We, the organisers, can’t follow up an anonymous report with you directly, but we will fully investigate it and take whatever action is necessary to prevent a recurrence.
