A NOCO Hike at Arthur's Rock
Come join us for a hike to Arthur’s Rock. This is a classic northern Colorado hike for a reason! Expect varied terrain starting in a grassy valley of Lory State Park rising up into the forested foothills filled with alpine meadows followed by switchbacks and an intermediate rock scramble to spectacular views of Horsetooth Reservoir and the prairie below. We leave early, because parking at the trailhead often fills up. There is a toilet at the trailhead. Dress in layers with a brimmed hat. Bring water and a snack. For those that would like to join us after the hike for lunch and/or drink, we’ll meet at JJ’s Woodfired Pizza.  Meet either at the Trail head at 8:00 AM OR Meet at JJ's Country Corner to Carpool at 7:30 AM MDT (See newsletter for addresses)
