The Theatre Parents Association (TPA) will be offering scholarships for use this summer that enhance our students’ theatre experience and education. All submission essays must be submitted through this Google Form.

The following criteria will be used for scholarships:

- Scholarships will be awarded to returning Neuqua Valley High School students only.

- All essays must be a minimum of 200 words and maximum of 500 words.

- Scholarships will be awarded only for NVHS Theatre Summer Camp, workshops, productions, classes, and activities that directly enhance skills applicable to theatre programs at Neuqua Valley High School. Scholarship may also be used toward Theatre Fest in January.

- Scholarship awards are paid directly to the music teacher, camp, or institution.  (If you have proof of payments already made, then you can be reimbursed directly.)

- The TPA Scholarship Committee will assess your application. Scholarship essays are printed, judged and selected without names attached, so make sure your essay expresses who you are!

- Recipients of scholarships must contact the TPA Treasurer, Carrie Giacobbe, at nvhstpa@gmail.com to arrange for a check to be sent to any teacher/organization/camp or for reimbursement.

 - Applicants, who are awarded a scholarship, have until July 31, 2024, to claim their scholarship or declare its use for Theatre Fest in Jauary. Any scholarships not claimed or declared by July 31, 2024, will be forfeited and returned to the TPA Scholarship Fund.

- Scholarships are not transferable.

While scholarship funds may be used for a range of continuing education opportunities, NVHS students are particularly encouraged to apply the funds for participation in the District #204 Summer Workshops and/or taking summer lessons with an NVHS voice instructor.  (Please know that while encouraged, enrollment in District #204 Summer Workshops or Summer Voice Lessons through Neuqua does not impact your scholarship application.)

Scholarships will be announced at the 2024 Willie Awards.
