At McAlpine, volunteers are a critical part of our success. We pride ourselves on our strong family environment and sense of community. Whether you have a few hours each week or a few hours each year, we have many opportunities for you to contribute, based on your time and interests. Volunteers help build our McAlpine community and keep our staff and families connected through outreach and enrichment initiatives among our neighborhoods. We have a busy year ahead, packed with events like book fairs, family festivals, school dances, and student art appreciation celebrations. Now more than ever, we need volunteers to help us put it all together!

5th GRADE GRADUATION - Volunteers are needed to plan graduation activities for our 5th Graders.
AUCTION COMMITTEE - Help solicit raffle and silent auction items for McAlpine Spring Fling.
BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE - Keep McAlpine looking great by donating time and talent for light landscaping. There are also opportunities to help with repairs inside the building and classrooms.
BEGINNING OF THE YEAR HELP - Help our newest Eagles find their way in the morning via the bus lot and carpool line. Help Kindergarteners and 1st Graders during lunch time.
BOOK FAIR COMMITTEE - McAlpine hosts book fairs in the fall and spring. Help with decorations, set up and breakdown, register sales, and overall planning.
HOSPITALITY - Volunteers are needed to help honor our McAlpine staff throughout the year.
MEDIA CENTER - McAlpine's Media Center is in need of volunteers to help shelve and organize library books.
PTO LEADERSHIP - Are you are interested in taking on a leadership role within our PTO Executive Board? Let us know!
ROOM PARENT - Each classroom will need at least one room parent. Room Parents serve as the primary liaison between teachers and McAlpine families.
ROOM PARENT COORDINATOR - The Room Parent Coordinator serves as the liaison between the PTO and the Room Parents.
SPECIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE - Help plan and run events like Family Fun Nights, Pizza and Picasso, and the Someone Special Dance.
