High Holy Days 2020/5781 Information
Use this form to provide your information to be our guest for the Days of Awe 5781. You will receive a copy of your responses by email for your records. If you choose to make a financial contribution (none is required!), please add up any contributions you choose to make and send one check covering the total payable to "Temple Shalom" by September 11th marked with "Guest HHD Payment" in memo line. Please mail the check to 8401 Grubb Road, Chevy Chase, MD  20815.  Thank you for whatever you may be able to give.  And more importantly, thank you for joining us.  Email membership@templeshalom.net with any general questions about the Temple Shalom community.

By registering for either holiday, you will be sent information to access all of our holiday and festival services and programming.  Please do not share the links for any of our High Holy Day programming and services with others.  Ask friends or families to register directly with us.  Direct registration is critical to our ability to manage capacity for Erev and morning services and to maintain security.
In past years, guest tickets for Erev and Morning Services cost $175 per guest for one holiday and $225 for both holidays. This year we are not charging anything and welcome you as our guest at all services.  However, if you are able to make a contribution in an amount you feel appropriate for your circumstances (including none), please enter an amount below.  This revenue each year supports Temple Shalom programs throughout the year, and we hope you participate in those programs as well! *
We encourage every individual in each household to have their own two-volume copy of Mishkan HaNefesh (the High Holiday prayer books) for services each year. If you need to purchase Mishkan HaNefesh ($45/set) or would like to borrow a set this year, please answer below.  There will be a limited number of copies for loan to non-members and we will ask for a refundable deposit from non-members to borrow a set.  Based on your answers below, the Temple office will be in touch.   Please note that Mishkan HaNefesh is also available on Kindle here https://www.amazon.com/s?k=mishkan+hanefesh+ccar&i=digital-text for $9.99 for each of the two (Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur) prayer books.
