The Policy and Law Subgroup is a space for attorneys, paralegals, and law students as well as elected officials and staffers and policy researchers and graduate students who already familiar with effective altruism. Based on interest, the Policy and Law Subgroup will likely meet either monthly or bimonthly. Initially, the group will serve as a casual place to meet other members of the effective altruism community with shared professional or academic involvement. Based on participant interest, it can remain a casual meetup or become more structured over time.
