This event is meant to create opportunities for North Minneapolis to build partnerships, and work together in an intentional, unified way. We hope to build and sustain enduring relationships and collaborations among businesses, organizations and individuals in the community. It will be a highlight event for North Minneapolis, focusing on West Broadway, to promote the Northside as a destination area for the broader community. We believe the arts can be both a social and economic vehicle to bring positive attention to our community.

Businesses and organizations primarily along West Broadway serve as sites for FLOW. Sites are located from N. 2nd and W. Broadway to Penn and W Broadway. Each site should think of FLOW as an opportunity to educate the public about their business or organization. Your programming and involvement does not need to fit into any template we’ve created, but should celebrate who you are and what you do best.

Each site will be supported and have a comprehensive series of art and community-building components, including:

- Having a street-level engagement or artistic presence

- Multiple genres of performance and visual art

- Art Making Activities

- Food for sale

- At least one major arts organization represented through programming

- Parking
