Registration for Catoosa GOP County Convention
Date: March 11, 2023.  Doors open at 8:00 AM. MUST be in line by 9:00 AM.

Your precinct and voter ID number can be found at mvp.sos.ga.gov.

At 9:00 AM we will hold a precinct caucus to elect Delegates and Alternates for the County Convention, which begins at 10:00 AM. Historically there have been enough delegate spots for everyone participating in the precinct caucus to be elected to take part as delegates in the convention.

The Convention delegates will then elect county party officers. They will also elect delegates to the district and state conventions.

County Convention Delegates and Alternates must pay a convention registration fee. 
Guests (anyone not participating as a delegate or alternate in the convention) are free.
Only Delegates may vote.

Early registration (by March 7th) - $10
Regular registration (after March 7th) - $15

A light breakfast will be provided.

At check-in, you will need to show your photo ID and sign the following agreement:

Georgia Republican Party Rule 1.1 defines the qualifications for participation in party actions as “All  electors who are in accord with the principles of the Republican Party, believe in its declaration of policy  and are in agreement with its aims and purposes may participate as members of the Georgia Republican  Party in it conventions and /or mass meetings.”

Are you interested in being elected as a delegate or alternate to the 14th District GOP Convention to be held on April 22 at 10 AM at Trion High School in Chattooga County?  The District Convention will be electing officers for the district and State Committee members for the next biennial.
*This is not a guarantee that you will be on the final list of delegates and alternates. The county convention delegates will make that decision on March 11.

*District and State Convention delegates are independent of one another. You do not have to register for state just because you register for district.

The cost to attend the district convention is $35 before April 1 and $40 after that date.  Please keep in mind that we want to fill the spots with people who are serious about attending. There are 35 delegate spots and 35 alternate spots.

Are you interested in being elected as a delegate or alternate to the Georgia GOP State Convention to be held on June 9-10, beginning at 2:00 PM, in Columbus, GA? The State Convention will elect state party officers for the next biennial in addition to conducting all other business as necessary.  
*This is not a guarantee that you will be on the final list of delegates and alternates. The county convention delegates will make that decision on March 11.

*District and State Convention delegates are independent of one another. You can register for state even if you don't register for district.

A price hasn't been set yet for the state convention, but costs will include registration and travel/miscellaneous expenses. Please keep in mind that we want to fill the spots with people who are serious about attending. There are 26 delegate spots and 26 alternate spots.
