Dear Parents,

We are THRILLED to be back in person next year!

As the end of the school year is approaching, we would like to begin registration for the 2021-2022 school year. This coming season, the program will run from September until March or April. The full calendar will be available in the fall.  

In order to ensure that the program will take place, we will need your registration and deposit by June 16.  Please complete this google form to enroll.  Once you have submitted the form, you will need to send in your deposit (see below) made payable to St. Patrick's School in an envelope marked "Theatre Arts".  

Since this is an enrollment-based program, if we do not meet our minimum requirement by June 16, the program will be canceled and all funds will be returned.  If we have sufficient enrollment, we will be able to schedule classes.  You will know which day of the week your child’s class will meet by the end of the month, so that you can plan next year’s activities accordingly.  

Each of the programs listed below will run for approximately 24 weeks and culminate with a performance.   The Theatre Arts Program is invaluable to the lives of the students who participate.  We have seen shy students blossom in front of our eyes; and outgoing students find an outlet for all of their creative energy.  There is nothing quite like seeing the students on stage during the performances, grinning with pride from ear to ear.

We will also be collecting a staging fee, which will be used to purchase necessary materials for the production (such as; fabric, props, paint, etc.).

MUSICAL THEATRE ARTS
(Entering Grades 4-5, 6-8)
This class is intended for children in grades 4 through 8, where song and dance is just of the tip of the iceberg. Students will work as a team of actors as they focus on in-depth character study, dance and song. All students will audition for, rehearse, and perform in a fully staged, fully costumed production.  As in the past, we anticipate that there will be several different sections of “Musical Theatre Arts”.  
This class will be limited to 30 students.


CREATIVE KIDS
(Entering Grades 2-3)
This class is suited for students entering grades 2 and 3. Capitalizing on the boundless energy and creativity of the students at this age, it is the perfect time to introduce them to the world of theater.   Through song, dance, and improvisational games, the students learn all about stage direction, movement, and working together as a team! Students will perform in the Creative Kids Revue at the end of the Theatre Arts season.
