By completing this registration, it is understood that the parties agree and acknowledge that above mentioned individual is a volunteer and its personnel are not Spoons Across America agents or employees for federal tax purposes or any other purposes whatsoever, and are not entitled to any Spoons Across America employee benefits. Above mentioned individual and not Spoons Across America is solely responsible for payment of worker's compensation, disability and other similar benefits, unemployment and other similar insurance and for withholding taxes and social security.  Above mentioned individual has no authority to make commitments or enter into contracts on behalf of, or bind or otherwise obligate Spoons Across America to any third party in any manner whatsoever, except if and to the extent expressly authorized in writing in advance by Spoons Across America.  Each party hereby agrees to indemnify and hold the other party harmless from any loss liability, damage and expense which the indemnified party may incur as a result of any breach of any obligation, representation or warranty made by the indemnifying party hereunder.

 

Mission Statement: Spoons Across America is a non for profit organization dedicated to educating children, teachers and families about the benefits of healthy eating.  We work to influence the eating habits of children through hands on education that celebrates the connections to local farmers and the important traditions of sharing meals around the family table.
