Trans Rights Field Survey
The responses to this voluntary survey questionnaire will be used to inform the development of trans-led recommendations for how to litigate in defense of trans rights in the current political climate. The responses to this questionnaire will be kept confidential and will only be used to inform  the development of these recommendations.

If you prefer to set up a one-on-one meeting to share responses instead of completing this survey, please email Whit Washington at thompsonwashington.consulting@gmail.com.

When we finish this process, we hope to have a set of recommendations that will help a wide range of people working on impact litigation on trans issues do their work even more effectively, equitably, and sustainably. What is the most important thing you think those recommendations should address?
We also want to support better collaboration among those working to advance and defend trans rights. What do you see as the biggest barrier to effective collaboration at this time?
What do you most hope will come out of this process of creating a trans-led strategy for US trans impact litigation?
What would allow you to do more, better, or more sustainable work for trans communities (e.g., particular types of mentorship, training, information, collaboration, communication, co-counsel availability, funding, direction, changes in the field around equity and anti-oppression, mental health support, or protection / security support)?

In the upcoming weeks, we will schedule 2-3 town halls to provide individuals with an opportunity to contribute further insights. Our objective in organizing these town halls is to create a comfortable environment where every participant feels encouraged to share their opinions. Keeping this objective in mind, what would be the most effective way to organize these town halls?

If based on demographic information, what should the 3 categories be? Please select only 3 options from list below.
If you would not feel comfortable speaking in a town hall, would you like to have a 1:1 meeting to express your ideas in more depth?
