The Union-Endicott Swimming and Diving Team will be hosting Tiger Learn to Swim, a 4-week instructional program, to introduce boys and girls in grades 4-6 to the world of swimming. We will focus on learning the 4 major strokes freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly in addition to water safety. This program will be headed by the UE Boys & Girls Varsity Head Coach Doug Peters, with the help of the current Varsity Boys & Girls swimmers.
Who: Open to all boys and girls in 4th, 5th, 6th grade interested in learning how to swim.
When: Practice sessions will be offered Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday, starting February 24th and ending on March 19th. Practice times will be from 6pm-7pm.
Where: UE High School Pool
What to bring: Appropriate bathing suit, goggles, towel.
Cost: There will be a $20 fee per swimmer for the 4 week session (due on the first day). This fee will benefit the Union Endicott Swimming & Diving Booster Club, which helps buy equipment for the Union Endicott Boys & Girls Swim Teams.
