If one of the councils becomes aware of a displaced worker seeking a new sponsor, they will give the displaced worker the contact details of care providers who might be able to offer alternative employment.

Please give an externally facing email address that you would be happy for the councils to give to displaced workers:

Once you have joined the scheme, you will receive a monthly newsletter with information about webinars, cultural awareness training, forum/support sessions and legal updates; plus free access, subject to availability, to 30 minutes free advice from a specialist solicitor; and signposting advice from Care and Support West.

In return we ask that you to agree to:

·       Respond promptly if one of the councils contacts you to ask about any workers who might be displaced.

·       Complete a short return every two months which will help us all understand how things are going with sponsorship recruitment in the area

·       Let us know if your point of contact changes, so that we can send information to the right person.

How your information will be used.

Care and Support West will use the information you have provided on this form for the purposes of operating the BNSSG Sponsorship Recruitment Scheme only. The information won’t be used for other purposes, unless you have specially agreed that it should be.

The information you provided on this form will be retained for three months after the end of the scheme and will then be securely deleted. (The scheme is currently planned to run until July 2025 but may be extended.)

The information you provided on this form will be shared with the three BNSSG councils so that they can contact you if they are aware of displaced workers seeking a new sponsor.

In addition, the councils may give the externally facing email address you have provided on this form to displaced workers seeking a new sponsor.

The councils will not use your contact details for any other purpose, and will also delete any information they did not already hold, three months after the end of the scheme.
