Action groups are OPIRG-supported, student-run projects organized around anti-oppression principles and directed towards research and/or positive action on social justice and environmental issues in the public interest. Action groups allow McMaster undergraduate students to address practical issues at the grassroots level, with funding up to $1,000 and additional support available on a case-by-case basis. These projects may take various forms, but overall will aim for tangible and visible action.
