Below, please find the required Puppy Buyer Application in an online format for your convenience. An application MUST be submitted to discuss puppy availability and to set up a visit to view available puppies in my home. If I don't know you and can't verify who you are...you will NOT be coming to my home. This is NOT up for debate. This online format will be submitted directly to my email (info@chiwowtown.com) Please follow up your submission with a phone call, text or email so we may help you on your search. Without a follow-up communication, we won't review your application. (Too many people send applications with no intentions of communicating, and that just wastes everyone's time.) I will NEVER ask you to submit or send any personal documents, deeds or home owner's verification. The ONLY thing I will ask you for is a copy of a government issued ID (with your name and address) if you plan to come to my home home. PERIOD. Be weary of anyone asking you to send them your personal documents.

What is your estimated budget for a new puppy purchase and who is responsible for making the financial decisions regarding the purchase and care of a puppy? Do you have emergency funds set aside for emergency care visits? Establishing a realistic budget will help me connect you with a puppy that will meet your personal and financial needs. (And just for a little clarity…if I’m asking you what your budget is… I am NOT asking you if you know what the “going rate” is for Chihuahuas, and I am not asking you to pontificate on what you think they “should” cost, nor am I asking you to tell me your net worth or total income so I can determine what you COULD afford to pay…you may be able to afford a $100,000 dog, but that doesn't mean you WANT to! Obviously! That's NOT why I'm asking. I am simply asking you to give me an estimated amount that you'd be happy or comfortable spending on a new puppy. If you’re open and flexible, you will have the greatest variety of puppies available to you. If I ask you for a budget … and you say, “well I don’t know my budget because I don't know what they cost”, I’ll politely inform you that ‘what they cost' is irrelevant to the question of your estimated budget, as what they cost has no impact on what you are comfortable spending…So providing a realistic budget just helps everyone speed the process along.

If you choose not to answer, or to play the “it depends”, or "I'm not sure what they cost" game, it’s a waste of everyone’s time and I won’t take you very seriously. I ask for a workable budget, simply because, that helps me show you the dogs that will fit into that price range… sometimes I just can’t help people when there is just too much gap between our price points. Sometimes, I may be willing to work with a budget and sometimes I’m not, often it depends on the dog you’re looking at. It’s that simple.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Seller offers no warranty as to size, color, and features. Puppy/dog is sold as “pet quality” ONLY.  PURCHASE PRICE IS NONREFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON AT ANY TIME. No returns for any reason. All sales are final. Limited or Full AKC Registration may be available upon receipt of a spay/neuter certificate from a licensed veterinarian/clinic. Additional fee may be required TBD. Paperwork is not guaranteed and may be denied at the Seller’s discretion. Seller and Buyer agree puppy displays no signs of illness or health problems at the time of pick up/delivery. Buyer has the right to have puppy/dog examined by a veterinarian of their choice within 7 days of purchase. If a life ending health problem is present, the Buyer has the right to and must return the puppy/dog within 24 hours of discovering the problem and must provide the Seller with documentation from the veterinarian stating the diagnosis. Puppy/dog must be returned for an exam by the Seller’s veterinarian and if the seller’s veterinarian confirms the diagnosis, the Buyer may be entitled to another puppy/dog of the same sex and selling price. If Buyer declines or refuses to return the puppy for any reason and chooses to keep the puppy when the problem is discovered, Buyer forfeits all rights and opportunities to a replacement of any kind. Puppy/dog must be returned at the Buyer’s expense and is due upon pickup, or a sum of no less than $500 will be owed to the Seller. Seller is not responsible to cover ANY veterinarian expenses at any time, for any reason associated with the purchase, care or return of the puppy/dog including, but not limited to, any of the following: hypoglycemia, diarrhea, infections of any kind, anemia, kennel cough, hernias, giardia, coccidiosis, distemper, parvo, wormy stools, luxating patella and hydrocephalus. Any return of puppy/dog for any reason will be considered a ‘surrender’ which will not result in any financial compensation. Contract terms are nonnegotiable. In the event the Seller must commence any legal proceedings, Buyer shall be responsible for all attorney fees, court costs, process service fees and marshal/constable/sheriff fees.
