Are you up for a cozy and fun weekend away in Bakkenveen, with the coolest people you know? This is your chance! Join us on this exciting weekend away to De Harmsdobbe in Friesland!

The weekend will take place from the 22nd till the 24th of November. The sign-up deadline is on Wednesday the  20th of November, and be aware, there is a limited amount of 29 places available! The estimated cost is €36 (keep in mind this might differ a little depending on the number of attendees), this is including food, snacks, beverages and a warm accommodation! Showers cost an extra 50 cents and are not included in this price, however, you don't need to bring 50 cents coins, we can swap them with the accommodation owners. If the weekend turns out to be cheaper than estimated, you will be reimbursed some money.

You will still need to pay for your own transportation, however, a person from the HOST Board will be travelling with you guys from Groningen station to the accommodation. We can help you arrange the transportation if you need help with it, we want to make sure that there is nothing keeping you from an awesome weekend away.


You have completed signing up when you have transferred the money to NL54 ASNB 0777 4504 37, BIC code: ASNBNL21, on name of N.E. de Graaf with the description "HOST Winter Weekend Contribution". There will be a link to pay at the end of the form as well. Don't forget to submit the form after paying! If transferring the money is difficult, you can also pay in cash, but please speak to one of the Board members.
If you are struggling to pay for the HOST-weekend, please feel free to speak to one of the Board members about any possible arrangements.


Things to bring are as follows:

-> Sleeping bag/Duvet and cover
-> Fitted sheet
-> Pillow and pillow cover
-> Hygiene kit
-> Tea towels
-> Warm and comfortable clothing
-> A cup, plate and cutlery (you can buy cheap ones from the second hand stores in Groningen)
-> Games


If you don't have a sleeping bag, we can lend you one for the duration of the weekend. Please first try to find one on your own (borrow from a friend if necessary) as very limited numbers are available.

Your participation is confirmed when we receive your sign-up form and your payment of €36. By submitting the following form it is assumed that you will be joining for the whole weekend. If this is not possible please contact us at hostifes@gmail.com.
