The LeiOut 2022 Task Force is seeking a handful of public health, science, and medical experts with 1) their finger on the pulse of COVID-19 at the National, state, and local level (specifically Huntington Beach, CA) 2) critical and creative thinking in regards to prioritizing health and safety at a large event, and 3) want to help keep LeiOut as safe and fun as possible in 2022.

We anticipate the Committee meeting via Google Hangouts every month from September 2021 through January 2022 for approximately 30-45 minutes. The first meeting will likely be the week of September 13th; we will confirm your participation in the Committee and announce meeting details by Sunday, September 12th. We’ll make sure Committee members are thanked properly for their time and effort.

LeiOut’s TD, Hospitality ATD, and Operations ATD will work with the Committee to ensure LeiOut’s many facets are safe. Ultimately we will lock down the Committee’s specific relationship at the first meeting including but not limited to: planning recommendations, game-day input, contact tracing setup and assistance, and other advisory vs decision-making capacities. We look forward to working with this Committee to make LeiOut 2022 safe as we return to having fun in larger groups.
