Office of the Student Treasurer Controller Application
The Office of the Student Treasurer (OST) is a body of student government that manages all paperwork required for the administration of the Student Activity Fund (SAF) to student organizations including approval of all expenditures, recording day-to-day transactions in the OST database, recording SFC allocation decisions, training organization treasurers, and serving as a resource for both the SFC and student organization treasurers. There is an opening for a controller paid per hour at Ohio's minimum wage ($8.80/hr). As a controller, you will be responsible for monitoring student organization account balances, filing paperwork for student organizations using Google Forms, and answering emails regarding payment requests.

Qualifications:

- Excellent problem solving, analytical thinking, and organization skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel, Google Forms, and Google sheets

Our ideal candidate is not just a hard worker who is willing to put in the administrative work that makes student financing possible, but also innovate how we utilize this financing. We are looking for upstanding and moral students who are able to make fair, unbiased, and potentially unpopular decisions in the interest of the student body. In addition, we are seeking students who strive to positively impact campus through equitable and inclusive decisions.
