This event is 100% free & open to the public, especially to the friends, family, peers and loved ones of performers! However, if you are able, we would greatly appreciate your support.

Elaine, Sasha, Maria, and Nashira have put in a lot of hard work these last few months making in our rebranding & relaunch of the community, including but not limited to:

- rebranding the community & starting an Instagram and Tumblr that consistently shares work by the community
- coordinating 4 workshops highlighting 8 writers (and paying them!)
- moderating a community of 70+ active users, ensuring it stays a safe & fun mixed age community centering LGBTPoC, where we actively foster discussions around #Escapril, NaNoWriMo, & other writing challenges.
- developing an anthology of illustrations & writing from the community
- hosting co-working sessions on a rolling basis
- troubleshooting, answering questions, so many questions!

We have a Ko-Fi goal of $1,000 and are 30% of the way there ($5 to our next hundred!) donations of all amount add up to pay it forward to our efforts! Thank you!
