We welcome new volunteers in a variety of roles. If you are a detail-oriented self-starter, we can use your help!

Below are brief descriptions of some of the areas where we need the most assistance right now. Please let us know which you are most interested in.

Event Organizer: Organizers are responsible for organizing BA events, online and in-person. Coordinates all aspects of events from platform/location to registration to role fulfillment. Organizers are the wizards behind the scenes that ensure events are successful.

Workshop Moderator: As the name suggest, moderators run our workshops. Braver Angels provides all the training for our moderators to facilitate meaningful discussions during our events. Have experience in moderation, mediation or facilitation? If so, this is for you.

Newsletter & Content Creation: We can always use more help with curating content and creating newsletter and other public content for promotion of Braver Angels activities.

Braver Angels Ambassador: Ambassadors are the evangelists for Braver Angels helping spread word about the organization in a variety of ways, such as: posting on social media, hanging flyers, making inroads with local organizations (such as rotary, churches, etc) and arranging and/or giving presentations. Passionate about the work? This role is for you!

Alliance Co-Chair / Other Leadership: An Alliance is a dedicated group of volunteers in a local area. The red/blue Co-Chairs are responsible for leading the Alliance. If you are interested in starting an Alliance in your area or lending your leadership abilities to support the organization of Alliances, this is for you. Co-chairs are responsible for the organization and coordination of all aspects of an Alliance, including fulfillment and smooth operation of all the volunteer activities within the Alliance. Regular meetings with state coordinators and National leadership are also required. Other, similar, leadership positions may also be needed.
