The purpose of AIS 497 is to enable students to connect their academic work in AIS with the working world. Internship experiences can be in for-profit or non-profit settings and should offer you an opportunity to put in to practice ideas you have been engaging with in your courses.
Internship for credit is open to juniors and seniors, except in very rare situations. Before filling out this form students should already have a confirmed internship position and have discussed the internship for credit option with an AIS faculty member who will be their faculty sponsor.
If you have questions about this form or completing an internship, contact Kai Wise at kaiwise@uw.edu.
