Houses Into Homes provides gently-used beds, furniture, and household items for families and individuals in Johnson County who are exiting homelessness, domestic violence, and other crisis situations.

There will be a job for everyone! Possible tasks to do in the warehouse are painting, sanding, moving furniture, organizing, cleaning, steam cleaning furniture, & folding/organizing linens, etc.

It is recommended you wear comfortable clothes, closed toe shoes, and bring water. If you plan/would like to paint - bring a smock or wear clothing that you'd be ok with paint getting on. 

If you can only make it for part of the 2-hour shift, please note what time you plan to attend. We have a cap of 25 maximum volunteers who can join.
