WHAT:  Philmont Scout Ranch, the Boy Scouts of America’s premier High Adventure™ base, challenges Scouts and Venturers with more than 214 square miles of rugged northern New Mexico wilderness. Backpacking treks, horseback cavalcades, and training and service programs offer young people many ways to experience this legendary country.

*WHO:  Philmont Trek participants must be 14 years of age OR be at least 13 years of age and completed the 8th grade prior to participation.

*ADDITIONALLY: At least two adults on a trek must present proof of current training in:
CPR, Wilderness First Aid (WARFA), and Weather Hazards
-All adults must present proof of current Youth Protection Training.

COSTS: $1,375 per person (NOTE: this does not include travel expenses to/from Philmont or practice treks)

Deposit $150 due January 23, 2023. *Please note, this deposit represents a commitment that you plan to attend Philmont in July/August 2024 and will participate in all training and team-building exercises.
