Fundraising plays an essential role in the WRS Band Program. In past years, our Band Program has generated many fundraising projects including: Varsity Gold Cards, Manna, Carson Pirie Scott gift certificates, bakes sales and sales of poinsettias, Krispy Kremes and spring flowers.

These fundraising projects have funded the purchase of many instruments, equipment, instrument supplies and music. Fundraising has also allowed us to conduct clinics with professional musicians to work with our students.

The WRS Band Boosters was formed in an effort to reduce the number of Band fundraisers we participate in without compromising the financial needs of our Band Program. Parents, friends and business owners will have the opportunity to support our Band Program by becoming a Band Booster.
