A festive wake in honor of Keith Johnstone, our patron saint of impro. On Sunday, June 25, 2023, at the Pumphouse Theatre in Calgary, we will celebrate the life of Keith, the pioneer of improvisation, our beloved mentor and friend who passed away on March 11.
Due to Keith's far-reaching impact on so many people, we are unsure of what to expect in terms of numbers and need to ensure the venue can safely accommodate all who wish to attend in person. This is why this registration form was created, and we thank you for taking the time to fill it out!
The Pumphouse is the original home of The Loose Moose Theatre, the company Keith co-founded in 1977. From our Pumphouse base, we will Live Stream the event around the world and in conjunction with parallel wakes in Brazil and the UK. Some curated content will be presented and, of course, exciting moments of spontaneity! But no speeches, per Keith's wishes.
