Joy&theHood Application Form
Joy&theHood Youth Wellness Collective has recently been awarded grant funding from the Youth Healing Project. With the grant funds, Joy&theHood is looking for Chief Sealth students high schoolers who identify as a person of color (BIPOC) to join our program. Youth will be mentored by BIPOC adults who will teach them about creative expression through sound, mindfulness, yoga, and other helpful tools to develop their own wellness practice. We will also have workshops about how to be there for YOURSELF first, how to develop healthy coping skills, and more!

This program will run for eight -twelve
weeks and meet twice a week. Meeting days are to be determined.

The mentors at Joy&theHood are not mental health professionals. Instead, we are young adults who have gone through hard times and have developed ways to cope.  We are looking to foster a safe community where vulnerability, empathy, and fun are nurtured!

All youth selected will receive a free t-shirt, yoga mat, and more!
