On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, Grade 9 students may take part in 'Take Our Kids to Work Day' (TOKTW), which has a long history of being a successful opportunity for students to gain real world experience in the workplace and connects parents/caregivers, and their grade 9 students, in a day full of fun and career exploration.
This year, the WRDSB is supporting TOKTW in partnership with a new sponsor, Students Commission of Canada (SCC). For more information please visit https://www.thelearningpartnership.ca/take-our-kids-to-work
Please note that although the resources mention virtual events, at this time there are no virtual events planned for November 2, 2022.
Although TOKTW is designed for grade 9 students, students in older grades may choose to take advantage of this opportunity.
