Each year Redmond Middle School PTSA identifies a person or people, who demonstrates exemplary volunteer service to children and youth in our school community with the Golden Acorn Award.
This prestigious award is recognized nationwide and acknowledges continued and dedicated service.
Past recipients have been parents, teachers, administrators and community members.

When we present a Golden Acorn Award, this individual is given a gold pin in the shape of an acorn and a special certificate. We also make a contribution in the person’s name to the Washington State PTA Scholarship Foundation. This foundation provides scholarships each year to Washington State high school graduates entering their freshman year at college, university, or vocational school of their choice.

In order to recognize the individual(s) who have achieved golden level accomplishments,
we ask each of you to participate in the selection of the award recipient(s).
Our PTSA awards committee will use your recommendation to make the final decision.
