BECOME A MENTOR

The SOU Raider Mentor Program is meant to give new and current SOU students a guide to campus and a person they can turn to for support as they transition into attending SOU. To this end, there are a few expectations for all accepted mentors. As a mentor you are expected to regularly check-in with your mentee, meet with your mentee three times an academic term, either currently be part of the Raider Welcome Team or attend a 1 hr training meeting, and provide a quick check in about your mentee at the end of the term. If you are currently unable to commit to these expectations, we understand and thank you for your interest in the SOU Raider Mentor Program. However, please reapply when you have more availability for a potential mentee.
