Est. 1977. 'Golden Mile Art exists to empower the community to realise its creative potential through Art'.  We are thrilled to offer our members a Commercial Gallery Opportunity in the heart of Kalgoorlie CBD.

LOCATION: 151 Hannan St, Kalgoorlie-Boulder, WA

Members Only Exhibition | All ages and skill levels of artwork will be accepted

This is a commercial Gallery
Curation will be adjusted regularly with a rotation of artworks on display
This is NOT a competition, there will be NO AWARDS

Opening Hours: 10am - 2pm Tues- Sunday and Late on Wednesdays. 
Please consider volunteering as a gallery activator. All shopping hours are manned by volunteers.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  • Entry is open to Golden Mile Art 2023/24 Financial Members ONLY
  • NEW MEMBERS WELCOME 
  • All Ages including Juniors are welcome to exhibit
  • ALL ARTWORK MUST BE FOR SALE
  • There is no theme
  • All 2D & 3D mediums are accepted including framed photography and reproductions
  • No photo is required for submissions
  • 20% commision will be charged on sales, taken out of the artist’s nominated sale price
  • There is no limit on the quantity of works you may submit, however excess artworks will kept in shop storage and rotated at the committees discretion
  • Additional artworks may only be submitted by request - This will be if/when you sell out
  • Minimum of ONE Artwork per artist will remain on display at all times
  • Artwork displayed will be regualry rotated
  • Curation is at the discretion of the committee  - discussion will not be entered into
  • At least one piece of your artwork will be added to gallery as soon as practicable, however please allow 1 week from drop off and supply of all artwork details.
  • Works deemed unsuitable for the Gallery, may be reallocated to shop products
We repectfully request that ALL ADULT ARTWORK IN THE GALLERY is presented in a gallery suitable manner. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Archival paper
  • Quality mediums with consideration to UV stablisation etc. (Student quality and above)
  • Quality Framing 
  • Appropriate D-Rings/hanging or display systems
  • 350gsm/7oz and above canvas quality
Please value yourself and your artwork.
If your work does not meet these criteria, please consider it as a shop product consignement artwork.

All artwork must be ready to hang including picture cord/wire mounted with D-rings.
    - Junior works on paper may be mounted on mat board.

There is no size restriction on any work. However for large works over 1m in any direction, please contact Golden Mile Art beforehand to discuss  gallery restrictions.

Golden Mile Art holds no responsibility for damage or loss of artwork as a result of having to move uncollected artworks from the venue. 

All care will be taken with artworks but responsibility remains with the artists for insurance.

You may arrange to have your artwork delivered and collected by a nominated person.  This must be an individual agreement between two people ONLY. Please DO NOT ask volunteers for exceptions and assistance.  We have many volunteers working and messages do get lost.

• If you cannot deliver or collect artworks during the allocated times, you must arrange delivery or collection during these times with a nominated person. Failure to collect unsold artworks will result in a HOLD on artist payments.

ARTIST PAYMENTS:
Artist Payment will be sent to your nominated accounts fortnightly

  • Failure to collect unsold artwork on Tuesday Dec12th will result in your final artist payment being held
