Street Count Volunteer Sign-Up
Thank you for your interest in participating in our animal welfare street count. The information gathered in this effort will provide more accurate estimates of the number of loose dogs and cats on our streets. To the extent possible, we will note whether there are signs of possible ownership (such as collars) and indicate what type of condition the pets are in (ex. emaciated, severe skin issues, pregnant, etc.). 

These representative samples will help us calculate community estimates so animal welfare organizations can collaborate on creating long-term plans to help pets live safer lives.

We are still finalizing plans but will provide dates and more information as soon as possible.

Designated routes will be assigned to volunteer teams of three, with one driver and two spotters. One of the spotters will use an app on their Android phone to log information about the dogs and cats seen on the route.
