The Dignity for All Students Act requires all newly certified (December 31, 2013 and after) educators to undergo a minimum of 6 hours of training by a NYS certified provider.
The OWL Teacher Center, a state certified provider, is offering 6 hour workshops for all New York teachers who are required to take them. Workshop dates will be added according to demand.
Our instructors will be conducting the workshops according to the following schedule as long as the Covid19 state of emergency in NYS prevents us from conducting the hybrid format training.

The 6-hour DASA course is separated into two strands. You will have 2 weeks from the start date to complete the training.

This is a 6 hour online training consisting of instruction plus modules. Prior to July 10, 2023 , you will receive a Welcome Packet and an access code to the training. The Welcome Packet will contain comprehensive instructions on how to successfully complete the course.

2. The second is a check or MO in the amount of $50 payable to Matters of the Mind and Heart.
