WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT?

We have already discussed in Session #1 that in the Sacrament of Confirmation you receive the power of the Holy Spirit and this power can change your life if you let it. But who really is the Holy Spirit?

When it comes to the Trinity we understand God as Father, & we know Jesus as our Savior
but the Holy Spirit is usually very misunderstood.
Is he a bird? Is he a fire? Is he a bird on fire? Not the last one for sure.

The Holy Spirit is a Mystery

The Holy Spirit just like the Trinity & many teachings in our faith are a MYSTERY
- Not a mystery that we don’t know the answer to.
- Example: Like the game clue when we begin the game we don't know the answer of “whodunit” until the end of the game.

- There is an answer to who the Holy Spirit is but...
- We can’t understand it all. If we could our brains would probably explode!
- We wouldn’t be able to fully understand it all until we reach heaven
