Youth & Family Education, Faith Formation, & Practice at Trinity Lutheran Church
For nearly a decade, our mission and ministry to, for, and with our younger youth and their families has been at a crossroads. When we had numbers of kids and parents and leaders able to give time and talent to crafting a Sunday School, that model thrived. But as those dynamics have changed through the years, so has our ability to provide that program.
We have experimented, as well, with other ways of equipping families to live grow in their faith; to pass it on to their children; and to live it in their daily lives: 2018's "CrossGen" where we offered an alternative Sunday morning worship experience and elective-driven stations was one of those experiments. Next was our 2019-20's "pop up" Sunday School after worship in the Narthex entry way immediately following worship. We know what 2020 brought.
Which brings us to now--with A TON of questions regarding HOW we offer youth & family education; WHEN we offer that; WHO will help build and execute; and perhaps most pertinent of all right now, WHAT WILL THIS LOOK LIKE with rising Delta Variant Numbers.
As one of our families with either kids presently in our "Sunday School" age group, or with children who have become a part of our congregation through Baptism over the past couple of years, WE NEED YOUR INPUT. Won't you please take a moment to answer the following survey? Your responses will be kept confidential, even as they provide fuel and direction for our decisions. Thanks!!
